ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON EDUCATION IN THE COLONIES.

Training of Teachers in

Hong Kong.

I circulate the accompanying copy of a

despatch from the Governor of Hong Kong and a Report

of a Committee on the Training of Teachers.

Although the Governor has not asked for

advice on the subject, the Secretary of State will be

prepared to send to him, for his consideration, any

comments that the Committee may desire to make.
